Platinum Solutions Recognized in Washingtonian Magazine's Great Places to Work Issue.
Platinum Solutions was named in this month's issue of Washingtonian Magazine also known as the "Great Places to Work" issue. As quoted in the magazine, "Employees at Platinum Solutions aren't cops, but they are helping catch criminals. Their software helps federal, state and local law enforcement crack codes to apprehend terrorists and collect evidence that might lock-up a violent offender or child pornographer. 'If we do a good job, lives will be saved,' said co-owner Adam Rossi."

Platinum Solutions Hosts Java Pioneer Bruce Tate for Internal Workshop
Renowned author and Java expert Bruce Tate was on site for yet another jam-packed day of Java. This workshop was the latest in the Platinum Solutions' Training Series which hosted Java luminary and "Father of Spring" Rod Johnson in February.
A featured speaker and instructor, Mr. Tate specializes in lightweight Java development, as well as the popular Ruby programming language which, has been receiving a great deal of industry attention recently. He appears regularly at various technology conferences including TheServerSide Java Symposium and No Fluff Just Stuff, held across the country.

Platinum Solutions Receives Multiple Task Orders from the US Navy
Under these new task orders, Platinum Solutions will help the US Navy meet their goal of reducing occupational illnesses and workday injuries by 50%. This challenge comes directly from the Secretary of Defense, who has tasked the armed services with reducing mishaps by 50% over the next two years. We are helping the Navy and Marine Corps as they save $366M and 119 lives!

Platinum Solutions Begins LEILA Phase III for the National Virtual Translation Center
The National Virtual Translation Center (NVTC) has awarded Platinum Solutions Phase III of the Law Enforcement & Intelligence Agency Linguist Access System (LEILA). Phase III will enhance and extend the current system, which was initially developed by Platinum Solutions under the guidance of the FBI Language Services Section.
LEILA provides a Web interface to a comprehensive database of language specialists, including detailed information about language skills and experience. LEILA is accessed by the FBI, DEA, INS, and other agencies associated with law enforcement and intelligence.

Platinum Solutions Places 1st among Washington Technology's 2005 Fast 50 Government Contractors in the Category of Systems Integration; 18th Overall.
Each year, Washington Technology magazine rates companies based on their rate of growth with respect to government revenue. In order to qualify, companies must meet the federal government criteria for a small business or be a member of the 8(a) program.
The companies are then ranked according to their compound annual growth rate and the top 50 firms are listed accordingly. Platinum Solutions is proud to be in such good company.

Java/J2EE Development expert and "Father of Spring" Rod Johnson arrived at Platinum Solutions' offices from London, England on February 21 to lead an all day seminar for employees and special guests.
Among his many endeavors, Dr. Johnson is the lead developer of the open source Spring application framework. Spring is quickly gaining momentum in a wide range of industries, providing significant benefits such as reduced development effort and decreased costs, while improving testability and overall application quality.

Platinum Solutions Participates in Advanced Technology Demonstration at the FBI Laboratory in Quantico, VA.
During this presentation, software written by Platinum Solutions was demonstrated to representatives from multiple agencies in the law enforcement, intelligence, and defense sectors.
