Technology Exposition, Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI)

Platinum Solutions will be on hand to highlight our current FBI projects, and to discuss in detail the technologies we used to meet some of the unique challenges faced by the Bureau.

National Security Agency (NSA) Acquisition Outreach Office Technology Event

NSA's Acquisition Organization was created to work closely with U.S. industry to help integrate technology forecasts and assess the rate of market implementation. NSA continues to broaden collaborative partnerships with industry and academia to maximize the return from technology efforts.

Platinum Solutions will be on hand to highlight our current projects, and to discuss the latest in Technology products and services. The event will be held at the Back Lobby of the R&E Building, Ft. Meade, MD 20755

Northern Virginia Software Symposium

The No Fluff Just Stuff series of conferences offers the industry's latest in trends, best practices, and developments. Platinum Solutions has sponsored the attendance of its employees so that they will return, ready to put the new information into practice right away.

Software Development Best Practices 2004 Conference and Expo

Platinum Solutions president Adam Rossi will be teaching an advanced level class titled "Keel: The Next Generation Meta-Framework for Open Source Development." This course is a part of the "Build & Deploy" track.

The Conference will be held from September 20-23 at the Hynes Convention Center.

HTCIA 2004 International Training Conference & Expo

Platinum Solutions president Adam Rossi be on hand to give a presentation titled "Pinpointing and Locating Data on Digital Media." The presentation will discuss how to pinpoint items of interest on digital media through the use of metadata.

The High Technology Crime Investigation Association's international conference will be held from September 13-15, 2004.

Northern Virginia Java Users Group (NOVAJUG)

Platinum Solutions senior consultant Santanu Dutt will demonstrate the various steps in developing a J2ME client using the popular Model View Controller (MVC) architecture and how the client can seamlessly communicate with various J2EE servers. The server-side technology used in the discussion will be 2 popular J2EE compliant frameworks - JBossi (EJB based) & Keel (non-EJB based) .

The Free Software Movement and the GNU/Linux Operating System
Richard Stallman will speak about the goals and philosophy of the Free Software Movement, and the status and history the GNU operating system, which in combination with the kernel Linux is now used by tens of millions of users world-wide. Washington D.C. Linux User Group (DCLUG)

Adam Rossi, president, Platinum Solutions will discuss the benefits of using open source Java Web application frameworks. He will discuss Keel, a Java server side meta-framework or "framework of frameworks" that provides standard interfaces for a variety of other open source frameworks and components to quickly and seamlessly to create Java applications.
