Platinum Solutions, Inc. is looking for motivated Junior and Senior undergraduate computer science majors (or closely related areas), who love to analyze problems, design solutions, develop code, and believe that "nothing is impossible."
Platinum Solutions develops custom software based on open standards and an agile methodology so our clients can quickly respond to a changing world. With particular expertise in healthcare, law enforcement, intelligence, defense, and homeland security, we offer creative solutions to those responsible for ensuring the nation's security and public safety. In a nutshell, Platinum Solutions creates software that saves lives. Our software helps the federal government monitor terrorist communications, arrest violent criminals, and improve the safety of prescription drugs and medical devices.
Overview
Platinum Solutions, Inc. is dedicated to hiring the best and brightest in our field. We follow a very rigorous recruiting methodology and offer internships to only a few select candidates. We are always excited about our interns because of the opportunity Platinum Solutions offers them to take a hands-on approach to grow technically and professionally. Our interns work with the latest technologies such as Java, JEE, SQL, Spring, and Hibernate to name a few. We have within our company an amazing wealth of experience, wisdom, and insight. The objective of Platinum Solutions Internship Program is to recruit candidates for summer/winter break internships where students can not only gain experience and knowledge in the software development arena, but potentially earn college credit at their university.

The Program
The Platinum Solutions Internship Program promises a fulfilling experience for dedicated and hard-working college students to learn about the software development lifecycle and work on many interesting projects for the federal government. This program is designed to give college students an opportunity to complement their formal education with career-related experience.
- Balance - Platinum Solutions strives to help students synthesize classroom theory with real life practice. The work setting is conducive to learning and provides a hands-on environment for you to learn about the software development lifecycle.
- Consulting Experience - You will either be dedicated fully to one project or take different roles on multiple projects. You will provide support to Platinum Solutions' employees by participating in software testing, code development, peer reviews, CMMI compliance, database work, and other duties as assigned. You may also be requested to observe client meetings and interviewing sessions.
- Commitment - You will be expected to work 40 hours per week in the summer and will have the opportunity to return during winter break.
- Networking - You will meet company employees and others within the technology community.
- Evaluation - You will receive regular structured feedback and guidance on performance. In addition, Platinum Solutions will solicit feedback from you on our internship program and the experience provided.
