Platinum Solutions encourages employees to not only be great teammates, but to get to know each other as colleagues and friends. We sponsor many events and activities throughout the year to foster a fun and exciting environment. We like to engage our employees in activities and take advantage of the energy that comes with being a part of such a young, growing company. Our strength lies in our people, and we do as much as we can to ensure that everyone is happy, healthy, and most of all having a good time.
Platinum Solutions hosts an annual family picnic right after Labor Day. It's a way to celebrate the beginning of the fall season and introduce one another to our family and friends. We participate in volleyball and basketball tournaments, and even take a few swings on the golf course and batting cages.
In the winter, we get together for a more formal event. You and a guest are invited to spend an evening with Platinum, with some surprises along the way! In the past, we hosted a casino night, complete with Las Vegas style tables. Many guests won prizes through a raffle at the end of the night, but the high winner of the evening walked away with a portable DVD player.
We like to say that we work hard and we play hard. In our home office, we have an entertainment center set up complete with comfortable leather couches, a plasma TV, XBOX, and a Mac computer for when you need a break. We even have XBOX tournaments in which everyone gets involved, no matter their skill level.
In addition to our break room, we often employ friendly competition both inside and outside the office. Our annual photography contest leaves employees vying for a spot on our wall of winners. We also sponsor a fun vacation contest during the summer months where employees can send in postcards from the various vacation spots they hit and win a prize at summer's end. We've been known to engage in a little friendly fire and take a day in the spring to play paintball or enjoy a Nationals game together.
