Benefits
Work Life Balance
Paid Time Off
During your first two years at Platinum Solutions, you'll receive 15 days of paid time off (PTO) per year - accrued per pay period starting with your date of hire. Beginning in the third year, this increases to 20 days per year. PTO encompasses vacation, personal, and sick leave. Rest assured, your requests for time away from the office will be hassle-free.
Maternity/Paternity/Adoption Leave
We were recognized as one of WASHINGTONIAN Magazine's 2005 "Great Places to Work." One of the reasons is that family is a priority at Platinum Solutions. In addition to your PTO, we offer five days of maternity leave and up to three days of paternity leave. In addition we offer up to three days of leave to assist in the adoption of a child.
Rest & Relaxation
On your fifth-year anniversary, you will be given an extra five days of paid time off plus a $3,000 bonus - provided that you use the time and funds on relaxing (and you bring pictures to share with the team). It's your own personal all-expense paid vacation.
Exercise
There is an on-premises workout facility in our Reston office for your use free of charge. If you'd rather have fresh air, hit the Washington and Old Dominion (W&OD) trail just steps from our office with 45 miles for running, biking, rollerblading, or walking.
Back-Up Child Care
Reliable child care can be a very stressful element in any family's day. Therefore, we have made arrangements for a special employee discount with Lipton Corporate Child Care Centers, Inc. Lipton provides back-up child care for "well" children ages 3 months throug h 12 years when parents' normal child care arrangements are temporarily unavailable. Common reasons for use include nanny/babysitter difficulties and vacations; child care centers closings for government holidays and staff days; and school holidays and summer vacations. The Centers are not equipped to care for sick children.
Employee Assistance Program
You'll have access to a confidential professional counseling service for personal problems such as financial crisis or family difficulties.
